She helped me with everything from trimming and formatting the video to blurring out personal information inside the video itself so I could confidently submit it on time.

I honestly surprised myself by signing up for the Smarter, Faster, Fun Video Bootcamp because I never wanted to be on video. That was way outside my comfort zone.
What I love about Annette's course is that it makes the whole process feel doable. It doesn't expect you to be an expert. It gives you the tools, explains everything step by step, and makes you feel like you can actually do this.
One of my biggest takeaways has been that the magic isn't in the filming. It's in the editing. I recently made a sourdough bread video, and it was amazing to see how ordinary footage could turn into something I was proud of just by learning a few editing techniques.
Now I'm working on a project I'm really excited about, and for the first time I feel like I have all the tools I need to pull it off because of Annette's course. I'm still learning new tips as I go, but I can already see how much more confident I am than when I started.
I signed up thinking I'd learn how to make videos. What I didn't expect was to stop overthinking them. Now I just want to keep creating and see where it takes me.

I’m a former magazine writer turned entrepreneur who went from camera shy to helping frustrated consultants, entrepreneurs feel more comfortable and confident on video.
I learned that sharing content on social media, particularly LinkedIn, was the best way to attract potential clients, referral partners, and colleagues to collaborate with.
As a former media studies student in college, I was fascinated with the idea of live broadcasts. I began hosting my first LinkedIn Live broadcast, Smarter Career and Business Moves, and recording videos.
When colleagues started asking me for help, I realized how much I enjoyed teaching others. And the idea for Black Dog Marketing Strategies was born.
